I sculpted these heads digitally in an open source 3D program using a stylus on computer screen. I made a 3D print of the digital file on my 3D printer, in several parts, over several days, typically upwards of150 hours of print time for each head depending on its size. Finally I welded the parts together, sanded, primed and painted the sculpture.
